Our Bakery Heritage
Founded by Le Vo, Ba Le began in 1950s Saigon as a humble street stand where his passion for baking and crafting authentic banh mi sandwiches took shape. After immigrating to the United States in 1972, he helped strengthen Vietnamese communities through food and entrepreneurship. In 1982, he opened the first Ba Le bakery in San Jose, followed by the Falls Church, Virginia location, bringing authentic Vietnamese flavors to even more communities. Today, Ba Le's legacy continues under the leadership of his son, Andy, who proudly carries on his father's tradition of quality, authenticity, and community.
